Enjoy a one hour beautiful coastal drive by motor coach to a natural,
rustic setting that lets you have a glimpse into the real life and daily
activities of a local farm family.
Learn about their homemade products, tasting their olive oil, handmade
mozzarella and salami within their lemon and olive grove. Sorrento affords
splendid views of the sea and the colorful marina below.
Next, explore the flower-filled main street Corso Italia, lined with
boutiques and sidewalk cafés, enjoying some free time to shop and relax.
Continue on to the famous archaeological site of Pompeii, regarded as
the world’s finest example of an ancient Roman town, offering visitors
insight into the life of a bygone era. Buried for centuries, it wasn't until
1748 that the town was rediscovered and excavations began.
Enjoy a guided tour of this amazing excavation, seeing the wine holders
that are still set on the counter of the wine shop and the stepping stones
that are there to help you cross the road during rainy season.
At the end of your visit to this amazing site, a stop at a cameo factory
will be made to see how this delicate work is created.
NOTE: This excursion involves approximately 2 hours of walking over
relatively uneven surfaces and cobblestone inside Pompeii excavations;
comfortable walking shoes are recommended. This excursion may operate in reverse
for operational reasons.
