To Carnival Sunshine Inaugural Cruise Homepage
Something we rarely do, we are doing this time - flying in the day of the "cruise". There are several reasons, but one is that we overnight in Venice the first day, so even if our flights get screwed up, we should be able to make the ship before it sails.
Our flights are courtesy of FF miles - Lufthansa going and British Airways coming back. Don't think I've flown on either of those before, but the price was right. Also priced right was the cruise. I used my Carnival Diamond upgrade and so for the price of the cheapest outside cabin, I got to upgrade to the standard balcony of my choice! So food deck, um Lido deck, here we come!
